Book Description

Art MacKenzie finds himself in the midst of the aliens he was writing about where he learns of a plan to lure the world into accepting their alien agenda--revealing the "true christ" (Anti-Christ) and bringing about a one world government.

From the Back Cover

"The Cadre" claims to have Christ’s body preserved and hidden in an ancient tomb.

For journalist Art "Mac" Mackenzie, the scenario smacks of an alien agenda. He determines to unearth the truth at any cost. But the Cadre doesn’t surrender its secrets easily. Mac’s former editor, Jim Cranston, has been found wandering among the ruins of Machu Picchu with burns on his body and in a constant state of fear.

Worse yet, General Roswell, Mac’s inside connection in the secret government-alien cooperative, is dead of cancer. However, Roswell has left behind two potential bombshells: a set of files with far-reaching implications, and a link to the aliens that he has kept secret for years.

With Mac hot on Roswell’s trail, the Cadre moves forward with its agenda: to convince the world that Jesus was just an ordinary man granted miracle-working powers by the aliens. The Cadre must be stopped before they can publicly unveil the fraudulent body of Christ, an event that could precipitate a global and apocalyptic shock wave. Mac is swept into a race against time in which losing is not an option . . . but winning could cost him all.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very worthy sequel to Nephilim, Jun 19 2004
By
This review is from: The Unholy Deception: The Nephilim Return (Paperback)
I found Nephilim to be such a unique approach to end-times Christian fiction that when I closed it I immediately opened its sequel, The Unholy Deception. The continuity of the story was good and the plot thickens in this second installment. Once again I found the characterization to be excellent. The only trifling annoyance to me was the emphasis on Uri's broken English...but this was not enough to downgrade the book. The idea of Satan and his fallen angels using the deception of extraterrestrials was clever. Yes, this book is far-fetched, but after all, it IS science fiction. It's action-packed and well written--altogether quite entertaining. I am eager to read the 3rd installment in the trilogy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Introduction of new thoughts regarding end-times., Feb 6 2004
This review is from: The Unholy Deception: The Nephilim Return (Paperback)
I really enjoyed the book. The notion of John the Beloved continuing til the coming of Christ was new for me. The nephilim and the fallen angels as aliens, grays and repetile-like beings, connects alien and biblical communities. The Great Deception could well manifest in ways we least expect. I can't wait for the 3rd installment. P.S. This is my first review. That is how strong I feel about the story. Thanks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great., July 10 2003
By
This review is from: The Unholy Deception: The Nephilim Return (Paperback)
Christianity's core truth lies in the fact that the tomb was empty. that Christ rose from the dead. Without that, one of the three major world religions would lose credibilty, and mankind would lose hope.

When a secret group known as the Cadre produces something that they claim refutes that essential truth, reporter Mac Mackenzie has to stop the Evil One's conspiracy. Unfortunately, Mac's allies have been felled by disease and madness. He finds himself fighting both the government and the aliens to prove that Christ was and is divine, not a product of aliens.

He is joined in his quest by a most surprising, and heavnly ally, someone who knew our Lord in person. In a plot reminescent of the X files, a scant few must race against time to stop the world from ending.

***** Even more exciting and heart stopping than the first novel in the series, UNHOLY DECEPTION takes the gospels into the modern age. Using tiny details that have possibly been overlooked in the Bible, the author thrills readers and will hopefully incite more than a handful to read the Book that gives it foundation. The door for the story to continue is wide open.I hope that it does. *****
