This review is from: Unholy Ghosts (Hardcover)
I think this book has a great opening line as two churchmen discuss what could be done to relieve a parish of an inappropriate vicar. Meanwhile, Deaconess Theodora Braithwaite has been lent a friend's home for some much needed rest and recuperation and finds herself pitched into the middle of a murder.

The characters are entertaining. The insight into the inner workings of the Anglican church (and the Anglo-Catholic nexus) are intriguing to say the least. Greenwood manages satire with reverence, not an easy combination.

While the mystery takes a back seat to the other factors in the story, it comes to rather satisfactory culmination.
