Let's face it, if you are looking at reviews of an Yngwie album, you know who he is, and you either love him or hate him.
I'll try and be objective about this: This is the best album Yngwie has made since "Marching Out". From the first track through the remaining 17, this album just rocks! Great riffing, fantastic production, incredible vocals, and of course, that Yngwie tone, loaded with counterpoint and the usual harmonic-minor-diminished licks.
The bottom line: if you like Yngwie, you'll LOVE this album. If you don't like Yngwie, you might be pleasantly surprised.
5 large Swedes who shred out of 5.

UTF is a must have for 2005! I roll the car windows down and Play Loud everyday. It has a monster load of energy which is very refreshing. Let's face it, rock radio sucks so bad with stagnant Nickelback clones. THE BOGEYMAN, REVOLUTION and CRACKING THE WHIP would kick a** on rock radio. Production complaints?? Get a life! The production is just fine. Warning: BEAUTY AND A BEAST may make you want to lead foot!

I doubt very much if this guy will ever go commercial again. Yngwie was mesmerizing in the 80's and early 90's. After Facing The Animal he just kept getting heavier and angrier (War To End All Wars is a whole lot of frustration & aggression). I would enjoy another Joe lynn turner collaboration OR ANOTHER TRILOGY even if only one! Take a small breather yngwie!

With that being said Fury is still a great CD which I still listen to quite a bit. It's still Yngwie and Doogie White is a great vocalist. Could've been better choices for this release I'm sure. But the music is stlll Yngwie love him or hate him!

Think of ATTACK but cranked to 10. This is 72 minutes of brilliance. From great instrumentals. It rocks from the intro song Lock and Loaded. To heavy bass dropping riffs on tracks like Boogeyman to beautiful instrumental like Fufuetta. Everything about this CD screams Malmsteen's best work.
Get your hands on the Japanese import it contains 3 short videos. This see's Malmsteen going in new directions but will still appeal to older Yngwie fans.

this guitar player is the godfather of neoclassical rock, copied, but never equaled, by many. if you don't know him by this album and it will blow your mind.
