If you watch this because you like the video game you'll be surprised at the changes. If you watch this to see a different side to Timothy Olyphant you'll see his first iteration to what would become Raylan Givens. Just think of it this way - Seth Bullock finally gets a chance to clean up Deadwood without the constraints of the law. Or Raylan finally gets to clean up Kentucky without the constraints of the law. The fight scene in the train car is well choreographed, the shoot-out with the gun dealers is a great promotion for the efficiency of the weapons used, and Timothy Olyphant is equal to the challenges of both. Dougray Scott is well cast as the Interpol agent chasing the Hitman.
This film is great if you want something that doesn't require a lot of attention. Just bang, bang, explosion, fight, bang, explosion, redemption.
Not a bad piece of film, but not the best either - just good action and the actors do as much as they can with the script.
