Untamed Spirit - A Travelogue for Motorcycle Travel Dec 19 2009
By Kerry D. Frost - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Untamed Spirit is a day by day, point to point travelogue of a motorcycle "journey of a lifetime". The story is presented in an informational manner and leaves the reader with a list of requisites for international travel by motorcycle. The travelogue provides names for all of the "not to miss" places but is short on history or geologic detail to add significance to these places. Still a good reference text for those who plan to do or a good story book for those who dream they would.

ultra tame spirit April 29 2011
By Peter M. Gaul - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The premise of a 53 year old woman basically giving up her life to live her dream riding around the world by herself for several years sounded interesting. This had to be a daring, excentric and - as the title suggests - somewhat wild character. Nothing could be further from the truth. I got to page 67, then just gave up because it is little more than a really dry chronological list of events and facts. There is no surprise, no emotions of any depth, no excitement, no humor. A very sweet, nice, humble person, but not very entertaining. The first 103 pages take place in Canada(her home), Alaska, Australia and New Zealand, all of which are relatively unexotic for a Westerner, leaving just about 85 pages to cover all of Asia, Europe, and Latin America, plus the return trip to Canada. Maybe it gets better, but I just don't have the strength....
