I love that this isn't just another book on ADHD, listing all of the things that people with ADHD struggle with, without providing any real solutions. I already know too well what we struggle with, and own a pile of (partially-read, mostly forgotten) books like that! This book was different and very refreshing to read! It is upbeat, and offers simple, effective strategies to overcome many ADHD-related obstacles. Even non-ADHDers who just want more focus and direction in their lives would probably benefit from this book. Jacqueline's website and blog is also great.

An easy to read step by step guide on how to lead a more productive & enriched life. With chapters on how goal setting, connecting with others, having fun, better nutrition & exercise (to name but a few) help us to lead a more fruitful life. The message this book conveys is as applicable to those with Adult ADHD or without!

Best Adult ADHD Book on Amazon. June 24 2013
By Mark Kawate - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This book is one of the most clear, concise, and helpful resources that I have run into in my search for managing my own personal ADHD. Extremely practical for any adults with ADHD, not only to follow, but to stay interested while reading! I could not be happier with this purchase. 5 stars by any objective metric.

Great idea, but needs a new editor Nov. 26 2013
By Alissandra M Kelsch - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I find the book mostly condescending, and the author needs to hire a better proof-reader & editor. I spent much of the time I was reading the book distracted by simple grammatical and spelling errors that cannot be attributed to dialectal differences. I have extreme ADHD... in looking for a helpful reference for ways to manage the disorder, being distracted by the book itself isn't helpful. I believe that the author truly wants to help improve the lives of her readers, but I was looking for a more in depth guide.
