5.0 out of 5 stars an excellent, much needed book on QR and psychology, Nov 5 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Using Qualitative Methods in Psychology (Paperback)
I had been waiting for this book and wasn't disappointed - it's a great addition to the (as yet) relatively limited number of books which address QR and psychology. It combines some excellent chapters on methodological issues with examples of qualitative studies. The focus on the research process in each of these studies makes the book a welcome companion for researchers who, like me, find themselves in a minority in their field and/or are largely teaching themselves qualitative research. I found the book informative, accessible and inspiring - and I was especially glad to see an inclusion of multicultural issues and perspectives in both the philosophical and applied sections of the book.
