5.0 out of 5 stars Still great, after all these years., Nov 24 2007
By David A. Cohen "Musical guy" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Utterly Mad: Mad Reader (Paperback)
I originally read Mad as a 10-cent comic book (a sign of our times, no cents sign on a computer keyboard) and then as a 25-cent magazine. Wish I had held on to them. I could sell them and retire. Anyway, you electronic agers will probably not get a lot of the humor, but you can still appreciate the wonderful illustrations by Will Elder, Wally Wood, etc. And anybody should appreciate the multitude of sight gags in almost every illustration. Illustration these days is down the tubes. Take a look at what fine drawing used to be like.
