5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Family Cookbook or New Vegans May 30 2012

The recipes in this book are a little simple for my discriminating palate. However, anything in this book is a surefire hit with my three children and hubby which makes it worth its weight in gold for me. The recipes are simple and inexpensive. Some of our favorites are: Nacho Taco Salad, BBQ black bean and tofu burritos (1st time they have ever eaten tofu without complaining), seitan, and tabbouleh chickpea salad.

5.0 out of 5 stars In Excellent condition and very useful July 13 2011
Format:Paperback
I've just begun to cook from this book and it's extremely practical. I made the samosa pie which was delicious but took more time than I expected to make the crust. I'm about to have the walnut dusted fetuccine with caramelized vegetables. The money and time saving tips seem very practical and I can't wait to put them to use. Great resource. I will eventually review this book and post photos of the food on my blog which you can visit at Blue Butterfly: [...].
