This book is an adorable book for young girls. It is set up so each day there is a page to read that includes: bible verse, tip, day starter prayer and some thoughts with an example. So for example, there is a page that talks about mistakes, patience, responsibility and so much that a young girl will go encounter in her day to day life. The pages are very short and it is a perfect way for a parent to bond with their daughter and teach them a lesson at the same time. I like it because it covers topics that I wouldn't necessarily think about and in a way that is perfect for a young girl to relate to. There are 365 pages to cover and then you could of course start over or pass it on to another young girl! This would be a perfect gift for any girl!

This book is perfect for young girls. Mine are 4 and 6 and they LOVE this book. They are very short, meaningful messages so they can be done even on the nights they go to bed too late. They messages are always something they can relate to. On the nights they suggest memorizing the verse I just talk to them about the meaning of the verse. They understand what is being taught because they often bring up the lessons at later times- like how you should always do what you are supposed to even if you don't think anyone is watching because God always sees you. I am sure we will be reading this devotional year after year since the messages still have meaning to them but will apply differently in their lives as they get older. Plus now that they can read they enjoy taking turns reading the verse and prayer.

I saw this book in the store and got two for my oldest daughters. One of them has the Daytime book and both books are so encouraging, and it boosts their confidence everyday. Teaches them the right way to pray, how to behave, how to forgive, and it has scriptures to read on each page. I love this book because its got my daughters more interested in learning about God and has them praying more. They always share with me what they read and they share it with their friends. Just the perfect book to buy for little girls along with their bible. My daughters love it, and I don't have to tell them to read it..they find it so interesting they read it themselves everyday. VeggieTales is Awesome!!!
