...But Veronica Mars is anything but your normal girl. Topping the show's amazing first turn, this second season offered a worthy follow act to the 'Who killed Lilly Kane?' mystery. Still as smart and witty as ever, Veronica Mars, played by the extremely talented Kristen Bell, solves mysteries both for her classmates and on a larger scale, while maintaining a semi-normal life as a teenager with a PI father in a town populated by millionaires and their employees.
Anything but a cheesy teenage soap, this noir, comedic, entertaining series makes you travel through teenage anguish as well as more adult realities like murder and abuse. The dialogue is witty, the photography is beautiful, the stories work individually as much as they make the seasonal arc advance and the cast is very talented. A must-own.
