5.0 out of 5 stars Veronica Mars, I hope we meet again Dec 6 2008
By Lindsay
Format:DVD
Words cannot express just how much this show is ingrained in me. It is my favourite show, of all time, which is saying a lot when I watch a lot of tv (and not reality shows, but the good stuff- Dexter, House, Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies, etc..) Yes, season three was different from the first two, and maybe it wasn't the same degree of quality due to the network asking the writers to change it up to bring in more viewers... regardless, Veronica Mars was, hands down, better than most of other crap showing on television at the time, even in a season where some people thought it stumbled on a few episodes. It remains in a completely other category above the rest with regards to quality, writing, acting, and just the ability to evoke so many emotions, not to mention bring light to social issues (Take Back the Night, Invisible Children, to name some). Season 3 really saw a growth in the characters, dealing with some even darker issues than the last two seasons, and just portraying the bittersweet dealings of life, so poignantly and with such grace. If I had to live through life only having the chance to watch one show, Veronica Mars would be it, and I feel humbled to have seen this show for its three seasons. The finale really brought the series back full circle, but I crave more of this show, and I hope to see more of it when Rob Thomas and co. finally make that movie script. We could never forget about you, Veronica Mars.

5.0 out of 5 stars I disagree with the first reviewer Aug 28 2008
Format:DVD
While admittedly this season could not captivate in the way that the first two could, it was ultimately CW politics, not the quality itself, that got the show canned. I found this season full of twists and turns, and the final episode was definitely left room for a big screen adaptation if need be.

The series itself was surprisingly addictive. I'm as stunned as you are that a straight, 20-something male from Canada considers this one of my all time favourite shows. lol.

5.0 out of 5 stars The End of a Great Show Aug 17 2009
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
The Veronica Mars series was one of the best TV shows combining creativity, wit, good acting and intrigue. Alas, networks prefer to cater to the lowest common denominator and sponsor reality TV shows, instead of providing viewers with quality entertainment.
