This book was purchased for my nephew who is a huge Handy Manny fan. It was adorable and came with stickers and a great story. It is verrrry colorful. It is great quality at a great price.

This delightful, colorful book aimed at children 4-8 tells the story of Manny and the tools getting ready for Kelly's holiday party.However, when Mayor Rosa calls saying that the Christmas tree lights in town went out and she needs his help, Manny tackles a series of "helping out" jobs for his neighbors.
In fact, Manny (and the tools) sacrifice attending the holiday party in the process. But when Kelly and the town realize Manny's generosity, they bring the party....to HIM!
A Very Handy Holiday shares the holidays of Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, in addition to Christmas, and Spanish words and phrases are peppered throughout. There's even a mini-dictionary at the end showing how the words are pronounced and what they mean.
As if that's not cool enough. this Playhouse Disney book also includes 25 nice-sized stickers with sparkly, holographic backgrounds. There's a menorah, the tools, Mr. Lopart's cat, a snowman, carolers, Manny and Kelly, the town tree and more.
This book would also be good for the aspiring craftsman in the house, especially since A Very Handy Holiday describes the difference between a flat-head screwdriver and a Philips. :o)

If your child likes Handy Manny, this is a good book to have. Even during Christmas the message about the importance of helping others is clear. It also talks about different celebrations during the holiday season and the joy of being with family/friends.
