I purchased this book for my grandchildren after reading Marley & Me. I enjoyed Marley & Me through smiles, laughter,and tears. This childrens book will bring smiles and laughter, too. I would like my grandchildren to learn how important the human animal bond is, and to always be kind and caring of the other creatures in our world.

My older grandson read the grown-up version of Marley and Me; and, I gave this book to the almost-3 yr old. He LUVS it and adores Marley. On Christmas Day the nanee and popee took the family to see Marley. Thank goodness, the little one fell asleep just as Marley was "going to sleep". The illustrations are great and the story is a heart grabber.

Animal lovers will be hard put not to smile and chuckle as they read this with their little ones this holiday season. Adorable pup Marley is excited at the prospect of snow fall and Christmas, as is his human family. He tries to 'help', with the tree trimming, etc. but just gets in the way and ends up making a mess of things!Thankfully, his human family is tolerant and understanding, even when Marley thinks the tree makes a great toilet! Gorgeously illustrated, this fun picture book makes a perfect holiday read aloud for little ones, and even though we do not have dogs (or cats, just a lovebird), we enjoyed it! |
