Just received my knife today, will update later if anything noteworthy should be added. However, if my prior experience with Victorinox knives proves consistent with this one, I know that this will serve me well until the day I find a way to lose it, not break it, because these don't tend to break easily. This is my first black Swiss Army Knife, and it looks awesome - I was expecting a matte finish, however it is glossy. The glossy finish means that it's a fingerprint magnet, but that's no big deal to me. These knives are always high quality, and every tool on this one seems to be quite usable and I'm sure I could somehow find a use for each of them. I wanted a model with scissors, as my last knife lacked them and I often missed having them. The scissors on this knife, while small, are definitely high quality and I know will prove handy to have. One downside I can think of right now is that the hook is a little hard to access, because of its positioning between the key ring and corkscrew, however this is luckily one tool that I can't see myself using often. Overall the Climber is a solid offering from Victorinox. It has just enough tools to be versatile without the excessive bulk some knives have due to too many unnecessary tools, and while you might find something less expensive with the same tools, you'll have a job finding something of better quality than Victorinox.
