I bought this for my mother who is in the early stages of dementia. She has given up using a computer which used to display photos as the screen saver. The larger size (10 inch) is easy for her to see, even with some vision problems. It took a bit of tinkering (the instruction book is pretty minimal) to get it set up in a way that would require little to no action on her part. I used the SD card for picture storage so the internal memory was not useful. I also set it up to turn on/off automatically. The supplied pictures were an irritation and had to be deleted before the memory card would be the default picture source. The screen resolution is very good.

Certes les images sont de bonnes qualités, mais la programmation est spartiate, la plupart des transitions sont très laides, saccadées ou inopérantes par intermittence. Pas d'effet Ken Burns, pas de redimensionnement intelligent des photos mais un recadrage "centré" sans paramétrage possible. Incroyable lenteur du chargement quel que soit la méthode utilisée (USB ou SD Card). On sent que tout a été mis dans l'écran au détriment de l'électronique, très bas de gamme. Je déconseille l'achat.

In general, a reasonable product. Problems that I found:
1. OM is too brief
2. When Auto-on, cannot configure it to read my SD card directly. It will display images in the internal memory only. Has to switch to SD card manually each time.
3. For some unknown reason, it will not display some black & white images...not all but only a few specific black & white images. Have tried resizing those files etc. Those images would be displayed as scrambled black & white lines.
