Zenieus - Vintage Series looks like wood, performs like today's top drivers! This club is not made from wood! ZX-100 is based on classic wooden clubs with a combination of modern materials to give you the feel and performance of the latest technologies with the style of older vintage golf clubs. The graphite shaft is lighter than the vintage woods for an easier faster swing speed and thus greater distance. The larger club head provides more forgiveness on off center hits. The cost was 1/3 of what entry level drivers were at the sporting goods store. The club looks great. But the shaft is extremely flexible, just like the manufacturer said it is. Apparently that is good for entry level golfers. I found that the excessive flex meant that the driver shoots a bit wild.Give it a try, if the cost is low. It may work well for your driving style.

Have been playing golf since I was early teens and have gotten so tired of hitting poor shots I had given up hitting the 1 wood and used a 3 wood for the last couple years. Finally gave the Taylor Made R9 a shot during a latest round of golf and maybe had two good drives. Disappointed I was researching old wooden drivers when I came across this driver. I liked the look of this driver and thought for the price it was worth it to just take a couple of swings since it is an attractive driver. First round of golf with buddies got a few laughs and jokes about how a 25 dollar driver was going to perform like a 25 dollar driver. After 18 holes of out driving them by a good 40 to 50 yards they were suprised and couldn't believe how much better my drives were since I was consistently hitting longer and straighter then they were with clubs that cost hundreds more. I have already ordered two more just in case I happen to break this one.

The club is very nice, I bought this for a gift for my husband. He said the club works well, the only problem is that if you do not hit the ball right on the plate, the finish of the club chips off. As a result there are many yellow nicks on the head only after two times of using it. The head will nick if it hits the ground, etc. If buying just for show, it's great. If you plan on using it, be warned the beauty will fade quick!
