Highly recommended Dec 6 2011
By Wang Han - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I give 4 stars because of the Brahms. It seems sometimes Francescatti can't catch up with the orchestra in the Brahms concerto (for example, the last few minutes of the 1st movement) and sounds stressful. This is weird because this shouldn't be a technical problem of him. Otherwise, his performance is so romantic, elegant and passionate! I want to give his Sibelius 5.5 stars. Only for the Sibelius, this CD is worth to buy!
