I thoroughly enjoyed this book - this was a more down to earth book than I have read by her in a long time. The main characters are REAL - they are a photographer and a teacher and have real life issues with families and jobs and I could relate very well. The introductions to all of the characters throughout the book was great - you know just enough about them that you are intrigued to read the next submissions in the group of novels. There are four women - three more books to come. Keep writing Nora - great job!

Vision In White was a very good quick read. I love all the characters in this series so far, but this book really just focused on Mac and her story. Their stories are to follow and I'm sure they will be just as consuming. Mac's struggles are genuine and real, and her friendships were very uplifting. The mother/daughter dynamics between Mackenzie and her mom Linda were fun to read about, her mom was the typical "spoiled princess" that never grew up and depended on Mac way to much and thought she deserved everything handed to her and always hurt Mac in the process. I was always routing to see Mac finally step up and tell her "NO". The romance in this book was very good even though it was all a little predictable. The humour in this book had me laughing; the way Mac and Carter interact is so interesting it just pulls you in.

I read this book on vacation and it was a very good choice, It's very enjoyable and the characters are real and lovable with their family issues, their faults and their forces. The friendship ties that are typical in Roberts novels are also present here. At the end we don't want to let them go, they become our friends also and I am thankful that there are more 3 books in this saga.
Read this book if you like romance, friendship and familiy ties.

Mac finds financial success and an occupation to satisfy her own creative spirit in a business that provides photography services for weddings. Combining a good eye for pictures and angles with an intuitive flair for her clients, Mac does quite well. Into this comfortable rhythm drops Carter Maguire who upsets her usual pattern of lovers. Tweedy, professorial, shy and awkward but sexy and unpredictably sexually adroit, Maguire is quite taken with the extroverted, outspoken redhead who has a knack for dating but not for longterm relationships. They develop a fun and interesting dynamic through conversation with good repartee and a skillful capacity of Roberts to capture the emotional moment. This book is pure romantic escapism that entertains and carries one in its rapid flow.Translator's Kiss

This series is just wonderful. It makes me wish that I was younger and go into wedding planning. We have a perfect spot on Lake Superior that would be comparable to the home in this series. Can hardly wait for the final book. Vision In White

This was one of the best Nora Roberts books that I have read. Ms. Roberts has a way of capturing your heart from the first page and these four best friends felt like they were mine too.

Would strongly recommend this book and series to anyone who values friendship and love.

I absolutely loved this book!! I didn't want it to end...the four girls sounded like such good friends and they were, from the days of imagination, into adulthood sharing their gifts in a business together and I was wishing that I was part of their group.

I have a hard time writing on her books as I love all of them. They are a nice reality break and light read. Helps to give my brain a rest from all the over thinking most women do :)
