Product Description

From the Manufacturer

The "X-Files" saga continues with three all new episodes linked together in one terrifying story. Set in the show’s seventh season, the fear begins when Mulder and Scully travel to the small Rocky Mountain town of Red Falls to investigate a string of unusual murders linked to ghost sightings, the undead, and other paranormal phenomena. The agents then pursue an inhuman killer to a secret research facility in the Siberian wasteland and finally into the depths of a buried alien spacecraft. If they survive, they will unravel the mystery of the black oil and prevent the alien colonization of the planet...for now.

The X-Files: Resist or Serve contains three horrific, interwoven episodes created by the Executive Producers of "The X-Files". The game features authentic "X-Files" characters, music and storyline, voiceovers by David Duchovny, Gillian Andersen and the rest of the original cast, and unique DVD-style bonus material containing exclusive commentary and interviews.

4.0 out of 5 stars Now if they'd bring back the show it be perfect, Jun 12 2004
This review is from: X-Files: Resist or Serve (Video Game)
Fabulous that they were able to get the stars to agree to do the voices for the Game! This game isn't perfect, but for me it was just what I was looking for in a new game. It had a little Resident Evil(Zombies), Silent Hill (Eerie Surroundings) and then the X-files storyline! After I got used to the controls and what the game was about I was hooked. The main complaint for me was it wasn't longer! If they do a sequel I will have it on preorder as soon as I hear about it.

It has the bit of mystery of the X-files but is basically a combo game with shooting/puzzles and even a few Autopsy's thrown in. They really have a place to go with this game if they choose to.

I know that doesn't answer all your questions about the game, but it's worth trying. If you don't want to buy it check it out at your rental store.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than the last game, July 4 2004

I got this game as a gift and wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. Let's face it, licensed games are notoriously bad (need I mention Enter the Matrix?). And, while this game is no work of survival horror gaming art, like Fatal Frame or Clock Tower, it is a helluva lot of fun. If you loved the show, especially in the early years, go ahead and pick it up.

And kudos to Fox Interactive for publishing really good titles based on their licenses, such as the two Buffy games and Simpsons Hit n' Run. Just please, please, please don't make a Married with Children game. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars x files resist or serve is better than ever!, Jun 10 2004
This review is from: X-Files: Resist or Serve (Video Game)
This game is the best game I have played. In fact it should be the best game on ps2. of course this is my opinion. Some of the weapons and stuff you get on this game are, a pistol, shotgun, pills for healing life, a flashlight, and some other equipment. If you are a resident evil type fan, then this is the game for you. I would say that everything in this game is great. Especially when the monsters pop out of nowhere. This game is usually hard unlles you knew what was going to happen. This game is tight and cool.(very) if you play this game have a great time. I know I did when I first started. I played from 12:00am to 3:00pm because it was so fun.
