5.0 out of 5 stars Harmonious coexistence on an alien world, Nov 4 2008
By Richard Mandrachio - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: A Voice in Every Wind (Paperback)
These "two tales of the Scattered Worlds" hold up on their own as well as an integral part of this universe's chronology. The setting of both pieces is the planet Kaa whose ecosystem is lyrically depicted. Its alien/human dynamic comes to life through the perspectives of various viewpoint characters. To the author's credit, harmonious coexistence and the futility of war emerge as two thematic threads of these narratives that are mere components of a complex yet sophisticated, well-conceived cosmos.
