This review is from: Volcano: Iceland's Inferno and Earth's Most Active Volcanoes (Paperback)
I was expecting a lot more from National Geographic when I ordered this book. For instance no mention of the Laki Volcano eruption in 1783 in Iceland which turned Summer into Winter that year from airborne ash. The cover states "Are you living in a danger zone?" of which the book only covers the "danger zone" for one volcano in the book, Vesuvius. I expected a zone mapping for all volcanos mentioned in the book. Nice pictures but NatGeo could have done far more to make this a volcano winner.
