I loved this series as a kid, and as soon as it was available on DVD, I snatched it up and watched it through from start to finish...including at least some episodes twice! This was a great series for kids and adults alike, and in my opinion, it was ended far too soon.

The series starred Jon-Erik Hexum (who died tragically just a copule of years after Voyagers wrapped) as Phineas Bogg, an Omni-weilding time-traveller who accidentally leaps into the 80's and ends up losing his guide book and instead picking up a new fellow traveller in the young boy, Jeffrey Jones (Meeno Peluce), whose bedroom Bogg had suddenly appeared in moments before. Jeffrey turns out to be quite the history buff, however, and is able to replace Bogg's much-needed guide book. The two become fast friends and intrepid adventurers as they leap from place to place, and time to time, correcting major events in history that aren't quite going according to their original plan.

With a cast of new and recognizeable guest stars from week to week, and lessons in both history and friendship being brought to the forefront in both comedic and dramatic ways, this series had something for everyone, and is still very much fun to watch even now. I highly recommend it, both to people who loved it when it originally aired, and to those who like a good action/adventure series that is entertaining while still being suitable for younger viewers!

I think it's always funny when Bogg sometimes says "Batsbreath" I enjoyed watching that show in the 1980's and I think you will enjoy it too. It makes me a Voyager too when they are flying.
