4.0 out of 5 stars Very useful tool April 10 2012

I got my JawSaw as a Christmas gift and just got a chance to use it over the long Easter weekend. I'm installing over 400 ft. of fence, much of which is very close to pine and spruce trees, and I used the JawSaw to remove the bottom 4 ft of branches on numerous trees. It worked beautifully. I've got over an acre and lots of trees, so I can see using my JawSaw quite a bit.

I would have given it a 5 star rating, but the chain did come off a few times. It's really easy to put back on, but I have to take one point off for that. All in all, it's a great tool to have for yard work, especially if you have lots of trees to content with.

5.0 out of 5 stars better than a chain saw June 7 2013

a little heavy with the extension but still a great product to clean your out door. If it was with a battery, it would be perfect

3.0 out of 5 stars jawsaw March 22 2012

The jawsaw is fine but heavy; I wanted to use it for overhead work and my wife wanted to cut up deadfall from our woodlot. It does both of these things well with a lot of elbow grease but I knew that going in. Hopefully she will not tear a rotator cuff in the process. My main concern was with UPS delivery; did not arrive on time and curiously, went from Calgary to Richmond after leaving Mississauga. I guess there are no flights/trucks or what have you going directly to Kelowna. If UPS or Amazon/UPS could take a little extra time (15 seconds)then the consumer would not have to wait by the door for 48 hours anticipating a UPS truck any moment now. Typically for me, I was away from this task for 15 minutes and the package apparently arrived and was left on the front step. Glad to have it but really? Dumped on the doorstep? UPS/Amazon: as a team could you arrange for a quick phone call/ textmessage when delivery time is near and spare us the endurance-test of waiting to receive the goods? Especially when the package will be a day late. I don't see why the driver can't simply press a button on his cell phone and send an automated warning when about to deliver. A little consideration would go a long way, that is, if you don't think service is a thing of the past. If this is the way internet shopping works I would probably become inclined to drive to Washington to shop instead. Make it better and they will come.
