Everyone should have this,

I chose to review this product because i firmly believe that anyone that has a flat panel HDTV should have this disc . Actually this disc should come with the tv. High definition tv's have given us big beautiful pictures, and along with that alot of confusing tech speak. Stuff most people dont want to learn about nor really care about. This disc is for those people that want to get the most out of their set without getting a ISF calibration by a pro. This disc is straight forward , with just enough detail to give you a good understanding of what you are doing and trying to accomplish. Basic HD broadcast signals do not adhere to any set color standards and thus color varies from one show to the next. Tv shows and bluray's are too dynamic to allow us to properly set color ,tint,brightness and contrast,enter the disney WOW disc. Our eyes (brain) need time to adapt after we make an adustment to these settings, this disc alleviates this need. After calibration i allowed myself a few days to adjust to the new setting. I could not be happier with the results. I believe that until we have seen a well adjusted hdtv , we often dont realize just how inaccurate are own tv is. Buy the disc, you wont be sorry, it will be the best 2 hours you ever spent with you hdtv.

WOW HD TV calibration DVD is a great way for a none expert to do the job of calibrating your HD TV.It is very easy to understand and the instructions are very easy to follow. A GREAT BUY!!!!

Maybe I'm missing something...but I don't think so.,

The Disney WOW World of Wonder Blu-Ray does what it says. It helps you to calibrate your TV/Monitor for your viewing scenario. It makes it very simple and explains all the terminology in laymans terms.In a couple examples, it was asking me to refer to some lines or shapes on the right side of the screen, and to turn up the brightness or contrast until they came into view...only problem was that, they never came into view even at max brightness. I have to spend more time with it to decide if it was user error or an issue in the creation of the product. Still, I'd recommend this as it's an easy way to teach you what to look for and how to set your TV accordingly.
