John Cena is definitely a fan favorite among WWE Fans, it's easy to tell from all the screaming and cheering when he comes out. But just because hs's a fan favorite doesn't mean he should have a DVD out so early in his career. He's an amazingly talented wrestler, but there's really not much to show off about him that's DVD-worthy. There's not even a complete archive of his battle raps, there are only five on there - JC vs. Rikishi, JC vs. Spanky, JC vs. Spanky, JC vs. Big Show and only one of the JC vs. Kurt Angle's. There are a few PPV match promos from his attitude-era when everyone booed him, and a few Confidential segments. (I can remember one that they forgot though, when John Cena went to Japan with Matt Hardy and they had sushi. ) They also have five wrestling matches that are his favorite. The best part of this DVD was the "Before They Were Superstars" portion. You learn about John's childhood and his foray into hip hop. There are interviews with his family, you learn more about his personality (...). Basically, in my opinion, this DVD was just a foothold to create more hype for Wrestlemania 20 (it's all over the DVD) and WWE should have waited until after Wrestlemania to create a more high - quality DVD with more features in it.
