I purchaed the POW pack, and hope it is as good as these videos were. If you want a workout video, buy these now, and thank me later.
These videos are not hokey, or lame, and they are easy to keep pace with. As you progress simply add heavier hand weights, and some ankle weights, and you will never get tired of them.
I heartily recommend these tapes to any older person who, with their doctor's approval, is willing to work up a sweat every day and see results.
I started the 1 mile walk in April, soon graduated to the 2 mile, which I did daily for 2 months, and am now going on to the 3 mile. I have the version of the tapes using the Stretchie Band, and notice a great improvement in my upper body strength, though in my case that is still nothing spectacular!
Recently I was on a visit to friends who have no TV, so I recorded the sound from the video on audio tape and continued to do my walk daily. The beat of the music is very helpful, and Leslie is so encouraging and supportive. A really great exercise video, and I have tried more than a few..
While this might not be the best choice for someone looking for a super high-energy workout, it is perfect for those who prefer a no frills way to exercise out some stress and calories. Also nice is the fact that her exercise crew represents all body types - while there a few "perfect" figures, there are also those who may look more like you or me.
I like the weighted workout balls; they are easy to hold and provide just the perfect amount of weight to work the muscles of your arms and back without burning you out.
All in all, I will never buy another workout video again, and am getting rid of all the others I own. If a busy stay-at-home mom can finally make the time to exercise daily - and ENJOY it - what other endorsement does it need?!

This one has 3 workouts using weights: 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 miles, and each segment contains a short warm up and cool down portion.
I don't have time to do anything more than the 2 mile most week day mornings but I do the 3 mile on weekends and feel good if I cannot do any other workout during the day. I heartily recommend both of these DVDs to people who are new to exercise or need a lower intensity workout for whatever the reason. The weights allow some toning, along with the calorie burn.
