I love Wallace & Gromit. Claymation is excellent, and the writing is cleaver. I just bought the Blu-ray version, since my current DVD copy is being used daily by my two year old. And I'm still not sick of it, the more I see it, the more complex I realize it is. Little pictures in the background you miss the first time around, or plays on the names of store front signs. I find myself quoting bits of it during the day. I also own "Cure of the Ware-Rabbit" which I also highly recommend.

I have always enjoyed Wallace & Gromit and debated whether or not it was worth getting the whole collection when really, the only one I hadn't seen was "A Matter of Loaf and Death". YES IT WAS! I thoroughly enjoyed rewatching the previous episodes and hearing the commentary for some of them. It was great to hear directly from Nick Park (creator) on how he started in animation as a child and developed. I also loved the shots of the sets - amazed by how small they actually are - and showing the modellers manipulating the characters. Was also fun for someone like me who doesn't know much about animation to see how they did Gromit flying the plane, etc.

A must buy for any Wallace & Gromit fan. The "Shaun the Sheep" clip included on this DVD made me laugh so hard that I went on to buy some of those videos too.

WRONG TROUSERS has to be one of the most amazingly brilliant claymation films ever. Correct that--one of the best short films ever period. Watch it numerous times to get all the jokes. Check out the paper headlines, or displays in the museum--classic inside jokes within the flick. The whole thing works so well esp. when you add that understated Bristolian accent of Wallace (who has the only speaking part). Classic British humour that translates into any culture.

Plus you get three other classics on here so...quadruple the fun!

Andrew's Blu-ray Review: Continuing the noble tradition of fictional pets that are infinitely more intelligent than their master’s equivalent to their inferior American Cartoon Characters, Wallace and Gromit have cemented themselves into the hearts and minds of fans around the world, literally. Translated into more than 20 languages, their beloved short films and recent feature-length motion picture, Wallace and Gromit in `The Curse of the Were-Rabbit' [not included here, sadly] have been watched, re-watched, and talked about at length by fans and critics alike.

This is a great little package for the casual fan of Wallace and Grommit. It's obvious that care was taken with the transfer to blu-ray as the the recent shorts look pristine and while the two original shorts show their age in terms of production values they still look great considering the source material. There are enough extras to satisfy the casual fan such as myself and I especially enjoyed the one where Nick Park talks about how he first became interested in stop motion as a child and how the characters and stories evolved and developed over the years. It's a very bare bones blu-ray release otherwise but I was very pleased to have all four shorts on blu-ray with lots of satisfying tidbits in the extras, especially for the price paid.

I love cheese and so does Wallace, need I say more? Apparently I do. I appreciate the hard work that goes into these shows and love that clamation is still being produced! Not least of all this collection was quite funny and my entire family loved it. Good humour and good fun to watch

No! Although it was ordered from a company in Montreal Quebec Canada, it was shipped from England. These discs do not work/play in DVD players usually sold in North America unless the device has an international setting. In other words it was a waste of money.
