First off the delivery before Christmas 2011 was impeccable, I was very surprised at how soon I received my package. Now about the game, I love the Lego series for XBox 360 in general. These games are fantastic when you have two children close in age especially. The children are required to work together in order to move forward. I have nothing but good things to say about this game. Oops, just one bad thing... It's too easy to let them play too long :S

So pleased with this game. I got it for my son hoping it would be easy enough for him to play but also fun enough for me to play and that is what I got.

Harry Potter Lego far exceeded my expectations. Having briefly played the Star Wars Lego games I expected the Harry Potter equivalent. The range of options available as spells (actions) for HPL surpassed the Star Wars within the first hour of play. (You do have to "learn" spells so its not that you have them immediately.)Something to take into consideration is that I only like the Star Wars franchise, whereas I love Potter as a whole. (Even with the sometimes horribly acted movies.) The only criticism I have for the game, which is so much fun, so clever it made me laugh aloud; is the cooperative play. Sometimes the screen doesn't really adapt properly and you're left with a completely inadequate point of view. Overall I would definitely and have recommended this game to friends who like the Lego series, and Potter fans. (I have a friend who does not play video games at all but loves this based purely on her love of Potter.)
