Since my ps3 recently kicked the bucket I'm glad I waited and got Arkham City for PC, not to mention the fact that running it on the higher settings can actually make the Unreal engine look quite good. Besides having an extended repetoire of flashy moves from simply mashing the attack button, and a few new gadgets, occasionally the story will switch to playing as catwoman which keeps things from getting too stale. Some are complaining a bit over the story seeming a bit looser than the linear Assylum but it works well enough in gathering all the villains who felt left out by the first game. I commend Rocksteady for translating the gliding and tethering into a smooth way to race across a large chunk of Gotham in lieu of the batmobile or that jet plane of his. My only gripe is ***slight spoiler*** besides joker & Harley none of the super-criminals make returning bosses, a few cameos are in there, but I would love another round with killer Croc or Scarecrow. ***end spoiler*** Still this would be more icing on the cake since they did pack a lot of work into what may be the studio's last work within Gotham, I heard they wanted to work on other projects afterward. As a final note I, thankfully, haven't encountered any loss of save files which have apparently been frustrating some.

Do not purchase this PC game. It's a waste of time and frustration. The DVD arrived with "for sale in India only" printed on both discs. When playing the game, confusing online registration for Xbox users(??) not PC, then can't register product key online as "Key already registered", poor online support.
