Book Description

This book is for every woman and man who is ready to accept responsibility for their part in the passionate, positive change process that is about to transform our planet. This book is about you - the possible you, the one who has that somehow unexplainable feeling that you were meant for something more, that your life has a greater purpose. Our planet is crying out for men and women to own their power and to be positive agents of a peaceful change. This book is about you learning to do just that. The warrior of the heart is someone who is making a difference, a positive difference with their life. It may happen in a remote village or on international television. Perhaps no one knows about it but you and your children, or you and the city council, or perhaps thousands are involved - that doesn't matter. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

If you follow this book through and complete the exercises contained in it, you'll discover your role in peacebuilding, whether it's from an international perspective or from a personal perspective. You'll also walk away with tools to healrelationships and understand yourself and others a whole lot better. I've studied this book many times over the past four years and each time I do, I learn more.

4.0 out of 5 stars A resource for anyone facing great change, Sep 24 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Warriors of the Heart (Paperback)
In this book, Danaan Parry addresses the process of change, and goes beyond that to focus on how to prepare yourself -- personally and professionally -- to be someone who brings change to your life and your organization.

"Warriors of the Heart" do not make war, so there can be intervals of peace. Warriors are strong enough to bring ongoing change -- so that an ongoing, self-refreshing state of operation for your life, family or organization can ensue.

Anyone facing a job change, career overhaul, family life crisis will benefit from this book.

Better yet -- those willing to get out ahead of these crises and drive change -- so they will never happen -- will find great wisdom in its pages.

Reviewers note: I've gifted this book to about 2 dozen friends...it's powerful.
