My daughter (currently 8) is slowly starting the main Warriors novel series, in part thanks to the manga. These are a great lead-in to get reluctant readers hooked on the world and the characters and ease them into reading the novels.

My daughter has read all the Warriors graphics, but this one in particular seemed to really catch her interest. She sat and read it straight through in a single day, something she rarely does. For that alone I would recommend it!

For those who like cats, action, and adventure I would totally recommend this book. I love it! If you know the Warrior series it's fun to see the illustrations in this book. I've always liked Ravenpaw, but he wasn't in the Warrior books that much. Now he is in manga and has his own story. Ravenpaw misses his clan a little, but Barley is his best friend and they will always ALWAYS live on the farm in peace.
