About the Author
Leslie Geddes-Brown, a former deputy editor of World of Interiors and Country Life, is one of Britain's leading writers on interior design and gardening. She is author of The Floral Home, Chelsea: the Greatest Flower Show on Earth, and Home Furnishing with Fabric (also published by Ryland Peters and Small), and is currently writing a novel about gadening. She writes on houses and gardens for the Daily Telegraph, the Sunday Times, You magazine, Town and Country, and Country Life. She divides her time between a Georgian townhouse in London, a farmhouse in the Tuscan hills, and a medieval moated manor house in Suffolk.
Jan Baldwin is a renowned photographer of interiors, still-lifes, and food whose work appears regularly in national newspapers and magazines such as Elle Decoration, House and Garden, and World of Interiors. She has taken the photographs for 18 books, including Design and Detail in the Home by David Linley and Decorating Secrets by Nina Campbell.
