About the Author
Like much of the wildlife he photographs, Steve Bloom is a rare species. Born in South Africa, Steve moved to England in 1977 where he established a photographic effects company. During the '90s, he swapped his career for the precarious life of freelance wildlife photographer. Steve has won numerous awards for his work, and his first book, In Praise of Primates, has been published in 10 languages. Steve Bloom Images was established to offer clients high-quality wildlife photography. His company now represents other wildlife photographers whose images are widely published throughout the world on calendars, posters, fine-art prints, and in advertising.
