I love my Moleskin daybook. The calendar lets me manage my time effectively, and the ruled page allows me to write down thoughts and errands. I'm going with the panoramic version this year, just because I want some extra room to jot down my weekend plans. Moleskin always makes the best paper products... if only they were more affordable!

This is the fourth year I have bought this planner and there is nothing better out there. It fits in my handbag and the in-built elastic keeps it closed. It lasts the whole year and doesn't wear out. The daily spaces on the left side pages are big enough for jotting down the times and titles of events and the notepad styled right-hand page is great for any details you need to add and other reminders or memo items. There's lots travel-related info but I think you'd want a bigger Moleskine for a real travel journal. I can quickly see the whole week ahead at a glance without going through layers of menu options like using my hand-held device's calendar! With the place-marker ribbon, it takes two steps to see the week ahead in my moleskine planner: flip the elatic and it opens to the current week. The little slip-pocket in the back is very usefull to stash someone's business card I have tried to do without my Moleskine planner - I can't, it's too good. I would like to see a slim propelling pencil in the spine one day.

This thing is absolutely perfect. It's small enough to carry around in your pocket or in your purse without taking up a huge amount of space. Its got empty space for everyday things and an empty page along side of each week in case you need to jot down some more info. I love that it doesn't have printed hours on it. It is perfect! I will definitely be purchasing one each year for the rest of my life!

I have used and carried Moleskine notebooks for years due to the great paper and build quality, but 2011 will be my last one. The construction of their books is no longer anything special, especially for the price they demand. With my latest book the elastic came unglued from one end, then the other, and now the pocket bottom has worn through. When I contacted them, I was surprised to learn these are no longer made in Europe, but in China.Moleskine has gone from a true quality product, to just another piece of Chinese made junk. 2012 will be my third year using this planner. It is perfect for me. I love the pocket in it! The pocket usually tears for me because I use it so much, but I tape it and it's good to go. I write classes, birthdays, holidays, etc. on the left side and my weekly to-do lists, weekly bills and other notes on the right each week. I write important info on the notes pages in the back. I never go without this essential planner!Edit: I have given this to my husband in the hopes he'll use it. I THOUGHT this was the NORMAL sized one, my mistake. |
