Product Description

The story of three Korean outlaws in 1940s Manchuria and their rivalry to possess a treasure map while being pursued by the Japanese army and Chinese bandits.

-----

4.0 out of 5 stars wild Korean western great on blu July 23 2012
By Cheryl TOP 50 REVIEWER
Format:Blu-ray
There is some exceptional production value in this fun epic-scale homage to the classic western. The film contains a uniquely successful blend of genres (think specifically of the bounty hunter, killer and thief meeting the comedic pacing of 'It's a Mad Mad Mad World'), and the involved stunt-work and scenic photography make for great blu-ray viewing. Bonus material includes brief featurettes, behind-the-scenes, making-of's, brief interviews and trailer. Highly recommended for fans of the classic western, film homage, and Korean action comedy epics. (4 1/2 stars)

As the movie is over 2 hours, you must be ready for it. Its a type of western, but
not the kind we are used to. All are after a treasure map and when money is
involved, everybody wants part of the action. So get ready for a continuous
gunfight involving all types of gunfighters...the good ...the bad and lots of
weird. The corpses pile up pretty fast but the action never stops. For what it
is, i think the director accomplished what he was after. Dont worry about the
subtitles...they are easy to ready and wont interfere with the show.

I love this movie so much it made me feel so good inside i got to give it to the Hong Kong movie makers there are doing some good stuff here the only scene that seem to drag on was the dessert scene it was one long dessert.Who could think that one map could lead to a hole lot of trouble for all involved...The Good, The Bad, The Weird [Blu-ray]
