Solid Information, clear drawings & beautiful photos April 1 2005
By Karla U - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I checked this out of the library so many times that I finally desided to purchase a copy of my own. This book describes how to make your outdoor area more wildlife friendly from a small balcony to larger acreage. Although this book focuses mostly on attracting smaller animals such as birds and squirrles, it is still an excellent resource. The main requirements of wildlife are discussed: water, food and shelter. In addition, there are many items that you can build both to amuse yourself and provide something of value to the local wildlife. The projects are accompanied by clear illustrations and instructions. The photos would make the book worth the price on its own.

Easy small projects and very informative. A really good read even if you have little space.
