From School Library Journal
PreS-K-Children are asked simple questions like "Can you drink a tubful of juice in ten minutes?" and animals-in this case, a camel-are shown performing the feats. An elephant that can wiggle its ears, a chameleon that can stick its tongue out, and fleas that can jump to 90 times their height also make an appearance. The cartoon illustrations are funny and full of life, and the mechanics of the pop-ups themselves are clever, showing liquid emptying out of a tub and children holding a copy of this very book. This title will be enjoyed during a lap sit and will work just fine in toddler or preschool group situations, especially if children are asked to imitate some of the animals in the story.-Christine A.
