Unboxed the product, open the valve and watched it slowly inflate. After about 5 minutes the foam had expanded, and I gave it 2 full breaths and closed the valve. It supports me and keeps me off the ground and is more comfortable than I thought it was going to be. I was a little worried about size, as I'm 6'4" 230lbs with broad shoulders, but this mat fits me! Can't wait to take it camping! The included carry bag is also of high quality, and it comes with a patch kit to fix leaks. Overall impression: impressed!

This mat is pretty decent. I bought this mat because I was visiting a friend and needed something soft to sleep on instead of straight hardwood floor. It is easy to inflate and roll up. I found it quite comfortable to sleep on and it did not deflate by the morning. The only thing is that it may be a bit bulky to carry around. It's not extremely light or compact but it's a good decent mat for what you pay for.

Okay, this pad is good, if you're going camping and weight and size isn't an issue. But if you're going backpacking, beware. This thing weighs a bit (2 lbs) and is very bulky. When I had it strapped to the side of my back, my friends said I looked like Boba Fett. That being said, if you're looking for a lighter, more compact solution, I'd recommend you go with a Thermarest trail lite. They're $39.99 at Big 5 (that's way cheaper than they sell it on amazon). They weigh virtually nothing, and are very compact (20 inches long and 7 inches in diameter)..

I purchased two of these rolls for a backpacking trip my girlfriend and I were planning to take. She has on older roll, but we decided to try some newer. The Wenzel Roll itself is good quality, I have no issues with the build quality or craftsmanship. I did use mine on our trip, but my girlfriend decided this new roll was a bit too bulky for her to carry. Mine was comfortable, but a stiff to repack (which I attributed to it being new). I packed extra clothes into the carry sack and used it as a pillow, which worked fairly well. Overall I say the roll is comfortable with decent build quality, especially for the price, but it is a bit bulky for actual backpack camping.
