I so wish that this book was available when I was pregnant with my sons! How much more at ease I would have felt with all of the expert wisdom and advice included in this book. Not only does it explain what a doula does and the role she or he plays in the birth process, it recounts actual birth with Doula experiences.
This book is a total gift for expecting moms, their partners and their families, for supporting the birthing process to be more gentle and loving - and what a beautiful situation for a baby to come into this world!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Men Like It To May 26 2011
Format:Paperback
What a great book for the men as well. So often men feel as though they are the fifth wheel at a time when this new life is being brought into the world. With Kims book men will certainly have a better understanding of what their wives are going through and would, I suspect, develop an even greater appreciation of the miracle of birth. What an amazing gift to all. Thanks to Kim for her knowledge and hard work in making this book a reality. I'd recommend this book to any potential father.
