This review is from: What a Girl Wants (Audio CD)
When I saw the movie, I knew that I just had to get the CD. It was everything that I expected. The only reason why it didnt get a 5 star rating from me is because not ALL of the songs are really great. Its a good cd to listen to when you're cruising around in your car. Heres what I think about each of the songs:
1. "Good Life" by Leslie Mills - a really great, upbeat song. I give it a 4/5
2. "Out of Place" by Gavin Thorpe - a sweet ballad. Its a pretty, nice song. 5/5
3. "Crazy" by Meredith Brooks - I love her voice on this song! I can definitely relate to the song. 5/5
4. "London Calling" by The Clash - I'm not a big fan of this song. Its kind of weird! 3/5
5. "Who Invited You" by The Donnas - Its definitely a great rock song. 5/5
6. "Long Time Coming" by Oliver James - Not only is he really cute in the movie, but he has a GREAT voice. Really sweet ballad. 5/5
7. "Kiss Kiss" by Holly Valance - I dont know why they have this song on the CD. Its a really stupid pop song, and I hate the kissing noises she makes! 2/5
8. "Whats Your Flava?" by Craig David - I always dance to this song. I love Craig David, and this is one of his best songs! 5/5
9. "I Wanna Be Bad" by Willa Ford - I have always hated this song and was dissapointed when I found out it was on this CD.1/5
10. "Half-Life" by Duncan Sheik - I almost cried when I first heard this song. Beautiful and sweet! 5/5
11. "Sombody Stop Me" by Erica Rivera - Upbeat, catchy song. A little too poppy for me though! 4/5
12. "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo" by Rick Derringer - Kind of a humorous song. It sounds like a remake of an old song from the 70's. 3/5
13. "Greatest Story Ever Told" by Oliver James - Another great song from him, its even better than the other one on this cd. It is so pretty, a great love song. 5/5
14. "Whats Good For Me" by Lucy Woodward. An upbeat, catchy song that I've had in my head ever since I got the cd! By the artist who sings "Dumb Girls" 5/5
15. "Ride Of Your Life" by John Gregory - A sweet song, the chorus is the best part 5/5
Overall, this soundtrack is really great. It definitely has a lot of variety, some are upbeat, some are slow. I would recommend this CD for ALL music fans.

Saxophone Song, Jan 17 2006
This review is from: What a Girl Wants (Audio CD)
I remember there being an instrumental song in the movie, with a repetitive saxophone part. It was pretty upbeat and kind of New York-jazzy and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was? If anyone knows email me at (...) Thanks!!
