About the Author
Milton Berry Scott has practiced law in California since 1972. For ten years prior to that he was a bank trust officer for two major banks handling the administration of trusts and estates and doing estate planning for bank clients. His practice is limited to estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, charitable giving, and IRA distribution planning, and he is certified with the California Board of Legal Specialization of the California State Bar as a specialist in probate, estate planning, and trust law. He has taught probate and estate planning courses for over 25 years, including 16 years at St. Mary's College in California. In addition to numerous articles and the present book, he is the author of Estate Planning for California Residents (1986), 2nd edition (1996).
