5.0 out of 5 stars simply invaluable if you are building or remodeling..., April 22 2004
Many kudos to Amy Johnston! I now know the "language" and what to expect in my quest to remodel a kitchen. Countless magazines and $ spent could not even touch the amount of solid and very readable information that this book has to offer.
This unassuming paperback is where I should have started months ago. Better yet, it has a sense of humor!

5.0 out of 5 stars A real book, must have when you want to build your own., Oct 12 2011
This review is from: What Your Contractor Can't Tell You: The Essential Guide to Building and Renovating (Paperback)
Delivers and exceeds what the title promises.
I have not read it yet but I skim through,
written by an expert, covers inside-out,
giving it simple straight forward, leaving nothing out.
