Discover the talents of the Greatest Irish Tenor Nov. 19 2005
By Uncle Omar - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Although this collection may not have the full range of McCormack's repertoire, it is an excellent demonstration of his range and skill ...

Ignoring the problems of removing hisses and scratches inherent in old-fashioned techniques entirely -- or of the problems of primitive recording facilities, his music covers the entire gamut of possiblities for those who appreciate outstanding vocal talent.

Even if you "don't like" tenors, or Irish Tenors, you may be surprised to find yourself won over to a new musical genre by the pleasures available by listening to the man who was (in his time) a bigger success than the Beatles, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash and Michael Jackson, all rolled into one set of vocal chords.

If you find that you like this album, there are others out there that are as good, or better.
John McCormack June 14 2009

Very good album. Sound was pretty good, considering the age of the material. If you enjoy his popular things (and I do) you will find this a very satisfying album.
