3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting story, July 30 2005

Miami detective Kendra Browning definitely lives for today. But as she investigates a baffling series of homicides, she suffers a freak accident that sends her back to the middle of the 19th century London and into the arms of Captain Brice Montgomery.

The imposing Brice is a man to stir any woman's heart, and Kendra is no exception. He is also her only protection in this confusing place, where her tales of the future defy belief. Soon Kendra learns that although time cannot keep danger away, timeless love can provide safe passage for all.

I read this book a while ago. The characters were interesting, although towards the end, more could have been done about the hero's experiences. I liked the twist at the end.
