B. J. Hoff writes with such tenderness, grace, and depth, that you are consumed with her books, from the very beginning. Her characters are "IMPOSSIBLE" to forget. Needless to say, they are intriguing!!! This is where her talent exceeds most writers. The only problem I have; is the stories are so wonderful, I read them to fast, and can't wait for the next book.This being the 2nd of the series, I suggest very strongly, to read the 1st one. So, you will have the full enjoyment of the story line. You won't be sorry. :)

I'm not really a huge fan of the whole Amish fiction trend, but BJ's Amish series is just fabulous.
Not the normal bonnet type books at all. Great suspense, characters that are just mysterious enough that you have to know more, and really interesting story twists!!
