Great,
By Jessica Sault (Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Whisper Of Eternity (Mass Market Paperback)
Despite what everybody else thought, I really liked this book. I noticed that Desire After Dark was rated very high, and this book was very low. I think they are very similar books, but this one is beter, because it had more to it. This was my first romance book, and first Amanda Ashley book. It actually made me want to read all of her other books, and so far I enjoyed this book the most. It wasn't as sappy as some other book can be, and it had action in it. I would say just read it for yourself, because obviously people have very different opinions.

AMANDA ASHLEY'S VAMPIRE BOOKS,
By
This review is from: Whisper Of Eternity (Mass Market Paperback)
Unlike the rest of her vampire books, this one was not good. The two main characters were weak or she did not love him enough and he just couldn't make himself force what he perceived was her desire, which it turned out was not it at all. Confused? Well, perhaps I am too.I definitely know why they do not write women as heroens in such books. Kitana, Petrina, and all the rest of the women were beastly. The book kept saying that Dominic could rid the world of them with a look and I kept hoping it would happen. The Bryan and Tracey angle was going no place from the first meeting. He had no ambiition and although only five years younger than Tracey in years, he was also way behind her mentally. He just so needed to grow up. I do and did believe Dominic loved Tracey through all her past lives but believed him a wimp when it came to convincing her of it. Tracey kept saying she loved him but nearly every page had her pigging out on some meal...she would have never given up food had she the choice. I have never read a book with so many pages of a person preparing and eating food all the time. Weak characters and terrible women vampires is a result. I normally love and devour each of Amanda Ashley's vampire books but this one was just not up to par. I will not stop reading her though. I love most all of her work. Sara

If I could put less than one star I would have. This was a true waste of time and money. I should have taken the advice and not picked this book up. Believe me you will regret getting this book.
