About the Author

Denise Cunningham holds a BA in transpersonal counselling psychology, and is a Registered Professional Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association. She is also an inspirational speaker, Reiki Master, ThetaHealing™ practitioner, Quantum Touch practitioner, spiritual healer, sacred group/retreat facilitator, and an intuitive fabric artist. Her career in the healing arts has spanned two decades, and her journey through a life threatening illness provided her with a renewed perspective on living that she incorporates into her work. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters who are her greatest teachers. In life and in work, Denise leads with her heart in providing a compassionate healing space of safety, acceptance and respect. A living example of not only surviving...but thriving, Denise is passionate about empowering others to do the same. Dubbed the "Hope Whisperer", Denise is a spiritual visionary who has had the ability to see into the heart and soul of people since she was a little girl. She teaches that there is hope in every situation. Denise holds the sacred Truth she sees in others, and reflects it back to them, until they are able to see it for themselves. This gift has led her on many adventures and has provided lots of material for her writing, workshops, teaching, and speaking engagements. In her down-time she loves to centre herself by spending time in nature. The trees, mountains, and ocean all call to her, so it is not surprising that beautiful British Columbia, Canada has been her home for the past 15 years. Denise also loves to create intuitive fabric art. Something in the way that colour, texture, design and Divine guidance come together in a piece speaks to her soul. Her vision is to co-create a more peaceful, loving, and harmonious world by helping individuals to create more peaceful, loving, and harmonious lives. Denise supports a holistic approach to health. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Format: Paperback
Whispers of Hope is so brilliantly written, and touches our heart with the story of the painful journey that changes when Denise looks into the horror of her 3 year old daughter's eyes and understands she must change the learned patterns of her life. Denise shows us how to journey back to our authentic self to a life filled with beauty and peace. This is a very powerful book from a very gifted writer.

What can be more powerful than what we learn from our own life experiences. The question is - do we learn or just experience? Denise does both in this profoundly honest exposition of her life - but more than that she takes it one step further as she empowers all of us with tools, for our own journey of transformation.

This book is beautiful to read. I found I didn't put the book down once I started to read it...I wanted to find out how she made it through the rough waters of her life. Step by step, she works through what life gave her, sharing it all in such a straight ahead and caring way. Even though I havent actually met Denise, I feel like I know her and like her very much. What a good feeling to be left with from reading a book.

Whispers of Hope - Nothing is Unforgiveable! Feb. 28 2011
By Miriam Evers - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
In "Whispers of Hope," Denise shares how she used her traumatic childhood experiences as the stepping stones to a profound peace. Through a process of understanding generational family patterns, finding compassion for herself and others, and practicing radical forgiveness, she came to remember the innocent, loving being that is at the core of who we all really are. Instead of seeing cancer as a death sentence, she embraced cancer as a wake-up call for greater aliveness. Denise sees the Divine within herself and others and reminds us that there is hope in every situation. Nothing is unforgiveable. I loved this book. ~ Miriam Evers, Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, and author of upcoming book "Feel Great Naked."
