If you need one of these switches buy one elsware that does not resemble this one, mine does not work! third item baught from amazon that is junk all made in china .

Got this for the whistler 2000w inverter.You have to have the inverter turned to the On position all the time to use this.
When you click the button to turn the 'power' off, it only turns off power to the outlets. It does NOT turn the power inverter off.
So, you are still draining the battery with the inverter being on.
