Excellent Pete Townshend Album,

This is a 1980s release in which Pete Townsend is doing something similar to The Who's Quadrophenia, in which the entire album is devoted to a telling a story. In this case the story is about someone who grows up in a tough district of London (the White City of the title), has financial success which allows an escape from the area and then returns to White City years later and has recollections of early days growing up in White City.It's a Townshend solo release which could be one of The Who's early 1970s albums. If you liked Who's Next and Quadrophenia you'll like this one.

The number of great songs on the record is incredible. It just keeps on getting better as you listen to it, start to finish. Definetly his best.

This was a Christmas gift that was added to the list very late. I received the CD within 2 days, so in time for Christmas. The CD has great sound and brings back many memories from days gone by. Would definitely recommend this service to others.Thanks
